These are an important part of every community. Since the beginning trees have fusrnished us with two of life’s essentials, food and oxygen. Today their value coninues to increase and more benefits of trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs created by our modern lifestyle. According to the U.S Department of Agriculture one acre of forest absorb six tons of carbon dioxide and puts out four tons of oxygen. This is enough to meet the natural needs of 18 people. Trees control the climate by modulating the effects of the sun, rain and wind. Both above and below the ground, trees are essential to the eco-system in which we reside.
The main reason why we like trees is because they are both beautiful and majestic. No two trees are alike. Individual trees and shrubs have their own value. Trees near our houses nourish our child hood memories. The sentimental value of a special tree is simply immeasurable. We should plant trees to stay healthy and to have fresh surroundings. Imagine a fish without water Can it survive? Now imagine a world without trees. Can man survive?
