MUN Conference attended by DPS students
Students of Delhi Public School, Khanna went to PIMT, Mandi Gobindgarh to attend Model United Nations Conference on January 14 & 15, 2017 respectively. The DPs Khanna team performed a variety of activities on the theme of ‘Demonetisation’. Sahira Malhotra and Sachi Gupta grabbed the Certificate of Excellence, whereas Anandita Aneja got the trophy for the best research work. Osheen, Alka and Harkamal Singh got participation certificate. It was a wonderful experience for all the students.
Inter Playway School Sports Tournament
Delhi Public School Khanna organized an Inter Playway School Sports Tournament on December 18, 2016. Students from nine schools namely Kidzee Doraha, Kidzee Mandi Gobindgarh, Euro Kids, Divya Playway, Evershine, O.P. Bansal, Mandi Gobindgarh, Kids Playway, Santa Clause, Child Heart etc. participated in the tournament.
It was a great opportunity for the students to showcase their talent and compete.
A number of fun games such as Hunt for Candy, Hoopla, Sack Race, Balance the Ball, Burst the Balloon, Hurdle Race etc. These were highly enjoyed with great zeal & zest by the tiny tots. Apart from this, there were some fun-filled games for parents as well. The winners were given certificates, medals and attractive gifts.
Founders Day Seniors
Delhi Public School Khanna celebrated its Sixth Founders Day for Seniors on the 18th of November, 2016. Mr. Ramesh Inder Singh, IAS ( Retd.) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. A spectacular show that comprised of different dance forms and a theatre production –on Maharaja Ranjit Singh- enthralled the audience. Bhangra, the grand finale earned a huge round of applause from the audience who enjoyed the show.
Founders Day Juniors
Delhi Public School Khanna celebrated its Sixth Founders Day for Juniors. Mr. Ravi Bhagat Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Scintillating performances by the students left the audience spell bound.
The little ones of the pre-primary wing lit up the stage with a medley of songs and dances. Pinocchio- a lively theatre production was immensely appreciated by the Chief Guest, Mr.Ravi Bhagat .

Armed Forces Flag Day
DPS Khanna Salutes the Armed Forces. Students of grades I, II & III handing over cash to the Principal which they saved from their pocket money for the brave soldiers, on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day.
1st DPS Khanna Invitational Golf Tournament
Delhi Public School organized its 1st DPS Khanna Invitational Golf Tournament on the 27th of November, 2016. Mr. D S Bains (IAS) inaugurated the tournament. Aryan Bharti, a promising golfer of DPS administered the oath. The tournament was declared open by Mr. Bains.
A number of teams from different DPS Schools participated in the tournament. The zeal and zest of all the participants was at its peak during ‘Putting and Round of Eight Holes’ events. The talent of the players was acknowledged by giving away the prizes to the winners.
In ‘Putting competition’, Aryan Bharti ,Pardeep Singh and Rashkaran Singh of DPS Khanna bagged the first, second and third positions respectively.
Whereas, in the ‘Eight Hole Round’ event, Ekamjot Singh of DPS Khanna secured the first position, Yuveraj Dhara & Abhimanyu Dhara of DPS Pinjore clichéd the second & third positions.
Abhimanyu Dhara of DPS Pinjore grabbed the prize for ‘Nearest to Pin’ event & Ekamjot Singh of DPS Khanna made everyone proud by hitting ‘maximum pars’.
Mr. Bains, in his address emphasized that “catch them young” is the Motto for producing champions in any sport. Just as Tiger Woods started training at the age of five under his father. DPS Khanna strives to provide the best facilities to the young children.
He further said that the Punjabis have a natural flair and strength to be golf champions. Jeev Milkha Singh & Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar are amongst India’s top golf players. Among girls Irina Brar & Parneeta Grewal are young golf icons from Punjab. Mr. Bains hoped that DPS Khanna would produce many champions in golf.
It was a proud moment for Mr. Bains to announce that Yuvraj Hara an almunous of DPS Khanna, has been selected to play Junior Masters Golf Tournament to be held in Indonesia.
