Our students are aware of the perils that thoughtless exploitation of natural resources brings in its wake. Climate change and global warming are two burning issues, and as well- informed future citizens, the students are determined to do something about it. Working in this direction, a special morning assembly and a poem recitation competition were conducted by the students to draw everyone’s attention to the problem.

Inculcating love for nature in children and training their minds to protect nature, a storytelling session was organised today in DPS. It became even more joyous as the story was depicted through puppets. Little Dipsites were informed about protecting and planting more trees. Children pledged to make trees their friends. It was a fun-filled session that also imparted valuable knowledge to our young scholars. It was a part of the week long activities of the ongoing Van Mahotsav.

How does a farmer work and how do tiny seeds grow into huge plants and trees!!!Hands-on farming activity specially designed for the junior students helped them find answers to all such questions. Furthermore, the activity promoted respect for manual labour and made the students realize the important role farmers play in our life.
