DPS Khanna acknowledges the amazing and special milestone achieved by the pre-primary students by conducting a Graduation Ceremony in the school premises on 27 February, 2018. The programme began with the welcoming of over two hundred parents followed by a beautifully choreographed dance number ‘it’s a beautiful day’. The young ladies and gentlemen of tomorrow were honoured with the scrolls given to them by their proud parents. The other scintillating performances and thanks giving speeches by the young graduates casted a spell on the audience. The Chairperson of DPS Khanna, Mr.D S Bains congratulated the young graduates on their achievement and also the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and another co-curricular activities. He thanked and appreciated the parents for the fantastic role that they had played to facilitate this process. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day to the little ones, the faculty and parents equally.
Graduation Ceremony at DPS Khanna
Delhi Public School Khanna celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony with gusto and gaiety on February 27,2018. The Programme unveiled with the senior KG students, who shared their marvellous experiences and warm memories with everyone. The Pre-Primary students performed dances and rhymes and left everybody spellbound with their mesmerizing performances. The tiny tots, attired in graduation robes, received their degrees from their proud parents along with their teachers. The Selfie Corner was the star attraction of the day.
An Interactive Session for Class X Students by A.K. Vidya Mandir, Chandigarh
An interactive session for class X students was organized in the school premises of DPS Khanna. The resource person, Mr. Satish Sharma, interacted with the students regarding different career opportunities related to diverse streams. They had a discussion about ‘School Integrated Programme’ in which students will be able to grab a golden opportunity to take guidance from the subject experts.
Seventh Founders Day Celebrations at DPS Khanna
Delhi Public School Khanna bubbled up with festivity during the celebration of its 7th Founders Day-Juniors on November 17, 2017 & Seniors on November 18, 2017.
The tiny tots of the Pre-primary Wing put up a grand show through the theatre production “The Land of Fairy Tales” based on world famous classics such as ‘ Beauty and the Beast’, ‘ Sleeping Beauty’, ‘ Frozen Fairies’, ‘ Robinhood’ etc. The scintillating performances of the juniors enthralled everyone present on the occasion. The Chief Guest Lt. Gen KJ Singh congratulated the young students for achieving such a high level in academics and extra – curricular excellence.
The star attraction of Founders Day-Seniors was the theatre production “Subhash Chandra Bose” that received all accolades from the audience. The Western Orchestra Group of DPS played melodious music numbers on different western instruments. Their well synchronized notes left everyone spell bound.
The folk dance of Punjab “Bhangra” showcasing the flavour of Punjab, was a thrilling visual treat. The Chief Guest Mr. Grover bestowed scholarships and prizes to the academically meritorious students & motivated them to keep working hard to reach the pinnacle of success in future. Mr. DS Bains proposed the vote of thanks.
A Seminar for Pre-Primary & Primary Teachers
A seminar regarding ‘Multiple Intelligence’ and ‘Classroom Diversity’ was organized on February 10, 2018. Activities were conducted in order to enhance speaking skills and make teaching-learning process more interesting and innovative.

A one day workshop was organized by “Stoodnt”, a career and college guidance firm led by alumni of Harvard Business School and IIT Ahmadabad.
Mrs. Richa Dwivedi Saklani, an IIM, Ahmadabad & St. Stephons College, New Delhi alumnus & the author of “ The Ultimate Guide to 21st Century Careers’ was the resource person for the session, “ Headstart’. Ms Kritika Malhotra who has an extensive experience in organizing career guidance sessions in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and Switzerland facilitated the ‘Pathfinder’ session.
